“They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer”, Acts 2:42.  The goal of the Friends and Family ministry is two-fold. The first is to foster relationships and closeness within the family of Blessed Hope. This results in believers that trust and depend on one another. The second goal is to display the love of God to non-believers through fun activities.  We sponsor various activities designed for fun and fellowship.

BHBC Men's Ministry is a community of men who encourage each other to become all that God created them to be. We encourage the development of healthy relationships as husbands, fathers, and followers of Christ. 

“If a brother or sister is ... in need of daily food,and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? ”, James 2:15-16.  Although life is more than food, Angel Food Ministries believes meeting the daily needs of people shows that God not only cares about their eternal life, but also their everyday life.  This ministry is currently for the residents of the Raintree Apartment complex.  Food pickup will be on the third Wednesday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  The residents must call the church at (314) 741-5757 no later than the Friday prior to distribution to reserve food pickup.  Residents must provide proof of residency.

Alcoholics for Christ is an inter-denominational, non profit, Christian fellowship that ministers to three groups

1. Alcoholics or substance abusers
2. Family members - Those who relate regularly with an alcoholic or substance abuser
3. Adult Children - Individuals who were raised in alcoholic, substance abuse, or dysfunctional families.

Our chief goal is to direct and restore the alcoholic or substance abuser, the family member, and the adult child to a sincere and dedicated relationship with Jesus Christ.

"I was in prison and you came to visit me", Matthew 25:36b.  Blessed Hope is a partner with the Mission Gate Ministry.  The Mission Gate Ministry has three goals: regeneration, rehabilitation, and reintegration.

1. Regeneration - Our first goal at Mission Gate Prison Ministry is to lead prisoners to a saving knowledge of Christ, to confess Him as Savior and to live their lives under His Lordship.
2. Rehabilitation - Our second goal is to provide a one year program that will "take the prison out of the inmate".
3. Reintegration - And lastly, we help them return to society as members of the evangelical church of their choice, gainfully employed, housed, and walking in the Lord as a light upon a hill.
